My biggest passion and my drive in life is enabling early complex disease detection
I’m a health entrepreneur with a PhD in molecular biology. Throughout the past 15 years I have researched diverse aspects of cancer and other complex diseases, and in the last two years I worked on detecting biological signals through wearable sensor technology. I have a deeply rooted love for technology, and I strongly believe that quantifying ourselves and being meticulous about it will significantly facilitate early disease detection.
During the past 18 months, I have been a part of a strong team that is transforming female health.
My experience spanning academic research environments, tech start-ups, mentoring and public speaking, helps me stay unique: I both understand the complexity of diseases and can find innovative ways to leverage widely available consumer platforms for their early detection.
Today I am working on my next project in health sphere.

I love what I am doing
I worked both within the academia as well as the startup world. I find combining the two is a powerful way to work on human health.
This is always a fun thing to do, but also very important. It allows me to share my life learnings with the community of likeminded people.
I have presented at many research conferences, congresses, workshops and meetups, including TEDx and WIRED Health.

“My interest and drive comes from my relationship with own health”
In more recent years I have focused on early disease detection, empowering people to understand their health conditions and subtle symptom detection with the help of wearable technology. My drive comes from my relationship with own health, as well as observing my friends and family members struggle with diverse, complex diseases that were mostly not diagnosed in time. My new project is very interesting, and very personal to me: it is about thyroid disorders and how to manage their daily symptoms to live a more fulfilling life.
“My main focus was cancer and immunology”
Most of my research projects were deeply connected to science laboratory work as well as data analysis. I have received awards for many parts of my cancer related work, and have published scientific papers on how cancer develops, how it metastasizes and how can we prevent it from doing so. I have spent a large part of my work life focused on cancer, but also in other biological fields, such as reproductive health, immunology and heart and kidney related conditions.
